OWA Announces 2019 Board and Executive

(January 10, 2019 – Peterborough) The Ontario Waterpower Association is pleased to announce confirmation of the 2019 Board of Directors and Executive. The Board will have a key role in leading the implementation of the OWA’s Strategic Plan for 2019-2021, entitled “Reinventing and Reinvesting”. The Plan outlines the industry’s vision that Waterpower is recognized as the most valued electricity source in Ontario – Affordable, Reliable, Sustainable.

The OWA’s 2019-2021 Strategic Plan sharply focuses on the dual objectives of sustaining and enhancing existing waterpower assets and providing new opportunities for waterpower development. These objectives are supported by the pillars of Responsible Advocacy, Member Value and Public Promotion.
