This guide is an overview of the many considerations involved in a waterpower project. It is designed to support Aboriginal communities who will be proponents (i.e., the developer), partners or participate otherwise in waterpower projects. The information is also of value for other groups new to waterpower development and those who want to partner with Aboriginal communities.

A short pamphlet designed to assist citizens in understanding the Class EA for Waterpower Project. This pamphlet includes FAQ’s and project flow chart to understand the process.

This Best Management Practices (BMP) Guideline has been designed to assist proponents and regulatory agencies address key issues pertaining to the American eel. The BMP Guide focuses specifically on the relationship between waterpower projects and the species and offers practical advice using science-based information.
