  1. The Dam stops the water to gather it in the Reservoir
  2. The Control Gate is then opened to allow water from the Reservoir to enter through the Intake
  3. The water continues down the Penstock to the Turbine
  4. The water turns the Turbine which in turn, turns the Generator
  5. The electricity generated is then converted to the appropriate voltage for transmission by the Transformer
  6. The electricity is carried by the Power Lines to where it is needed
  7. The water that passes through the turbine exits the Outflow to the Tailrace
